Antique Swedish writing cabinet in gustavian style made around 1820 in northern Sweden. The cabinet is made in two parts from painted pine. It has been restored by hand to its original first layer of paint. The lower cabinet has a desk top with an interior consisting of drawers. The doors have a fluted decor which is further emphasised by the distress of the paint.

The upper opens to multiple shelves including a spoon shelf and the doors have smooth inlaid rectangles with an ornate frame wrapping around it. The cabinet has the original working lock and keys. Healthy and solid frame with minor dry cracks around the door panels of the lower cabinet. The depth measures 47 and 25 cm respectively and the height to the desk top is 78 cm.
