Black gustavian chest of drawers from northern Sweden. The chest is from between 1790 and 1800 and made in Swedish pine. The chest has the classic gustavian proportions and designs with straight lines and minimal decor. Such as the slanted corners that continues down the legs. The tall legs also gives it a slightly different appearance and makes the chest lighter and more elegant. Combined with the slightly smaller size it makes the chest easy to place.

The chest has distressed black paint where the wood underneath shines trough in some places. The wood with the black paint emphasises the details and corners and makes the whole chest more dimensional. The chest has three drawers, all with the original hardware. Healthy and solid.
