Genuine antique console table from the late gustavian period. The table is an authentic Swedish country house furniture made by hand in pine. The table is free standing with carved wooden decorations on all four sides as well as the legs. It’s unusual to see a table like this so richly decorated on all fours sides as the back is usually intended to face a wall and is therefore often left blank.

This means the table would work well to have freestanding in the centre of a room. The table is from Sweden and made around 1820. It has been dry scraped by hand down to the traces of the original paint which has a rustic surface and charming patina.
