Gustavian corner cabinet from Sweden. The cabinet is from a village called Forsa in Hälsingland and made around the turn of the century 1800 to 1810. Made from pine with original lock and key in working condition. The cabinet has original paint and doors with a ribbed decor. Traces of a monogram on the doors.
The edges for the lower cabinet are slightly uneven because the cabinet has most likely stood against walls with a panel or border. Healthy and solid frame. Never painted inside. The cabinet has an authentic patina that only time can produce. The sides facing the wall are 70 cm and the total width across is about 108 cm.
