Gustavian provincial grey sofa from the early 1800s, around 1820, with the original grey paint with green accents. The sofa is from the Swedish area Forsa in Hälsingland. After being in use for 200 years the sofa has the genuine distress and patina of time. Made in painted pine. Underneath the seat there’s plenty of storage and the seat itself is new with new upholstery and round pillows in linen fabric. The round decorations on the corners are later.
