Long case clock from Västerbotten in northern Sweden. The clock has a straight shape with a pronounced flared skirt which is a typical construction for clocks from Västerbotten. The clock has decorative panels with hand-carved leaves wrapping around parts of the case as well as traces of decorative paint.
Made in pine during the early 1800s. The clock has been dry scraped by hand down to the original first layer of paint. The clock comes with the original mechanism, weights and pendulum. The function of the time piece is not tested and the clock is sold as is.
