Pair of rare baroque stools from Sweden made during the mid 1700s, around 1760. The stools are genuine and made by hand in painted pine with great attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. The stools have been scraped by hand to the original paint and rustic patina they have today.
It’s very unusual to see an authentic pair like this and these stools have been together since they were made 250 years ago. The seats have been renovated with new padding and upholstery in white wool bouclé.
