Small folk art table from northern Sweden made around 1820 to 1840. The table is made pine and has never been painted. It has a simple construction with a trestle along the center and a table top made from three boards. The construction is a clear indicator of its age with the typical trestle and feet which adds to the overall character of the table. The simplicity of the table is its charm combined with the warm patina of the naturally aged pine. Small and sweet the table would suit well to multiple settings and uses.
