Long Case Clock with Original Blue Paint

Long case clock from Ljusdal in the province Hälsingland in central Sweden. The case is curved with a rococo shape and decorated with a carved wooden decoration at the very top of the head. Dry scraped by hand down to the original blue paint. Dated 1831 and monogrammed. The clock face has some minor superficial damage and loss of paint.

Healthy and solid frame. Smaller defect on the door in front of the face, the hinge is functional but there’s a small piece missing – see picture. The case is 200 cm tall and the headpiece another 15 making the total height 215 cm. The clock comes with the original clockwork, two iron weights and pendulum.
