Rustic round wood bowl from Sweden made from a single piece of wood. The bowl has marks of use as well as a genuine distress and patina of time. The underneath has traces of the original paint and upper edge has a small lip to use as a handle. Bowls like this were household items used daily for preparing and storing food. They are rare to find today because they were often used until they couldn’t be used no more. That also meant they usually aren’t painted as that was an extra expense not everyone could afford to spend.
