Small unusual baroque bureau from Sweden made during the second half of the 1700s. The bureau has a curved front with three drawers that follow the curve of the bureau. It has tall, decorated legs and a profiled table top. The bureau is made in pine and dry scraped by hand down to the traces of the original paint. The surface has a unique and rustic patina.

The hardware is old and in working condition along with the key. The drawers work well. The inside of the bureau has never been painted and has the natural patina of aged pine. The depth of the bureau is 43 cm and the front extends another few cm, making the total depth 48 cm.
