Swedish country house cabinet from the transitional period between baroque and rococo. From Northern Sweden and the later part of the 1700s. The cabinet is in 2 parts and made in painted pine. Later paint with patina and distress. Take note of the detailed pediment with multiple flutes and a curved top. Working lock and key. Healthy and solid. There are some traces of older repairs on the inside of the doors – see picture.
