Gustavian and empire sideboard from northern Sweden. The sideboard is from the transition time between the gustavian and empire periods around the year 1830.\u00a0Dry scraped by hand to the distressed traces of the original paint from the 1830s. Never painted inside and original lock and key which both are in working condition. The hardware is original and brass which has darkened over time and become patinated. The shape of the feet is unusual with the indentations on each side. Healthy and solid frame made by a highly skilled carpenter –\u00a0one of the original Swedish sideboards from 200 years ago. Made in painted pine.<\/p>\n
