The table is well suited to hold two chairs on each of the longer sides. Made during the 1820s to 1830s the table is solid pine with a heavy table top. The table is a solid staple that has stood the test of time. The robust construction and durable material lends itself to daily use while adding the rustic country character to the space.<\/p>\n<p>The table top consist of only 3 thick boards of pine where the surface has a unique patina after 200 years of use. The legs frame is also pine and can be taken apart where it&#8217;s held together by wedges on both sides. The table has old paint from the 1800s with the authentic distress and patina of use.
