Folk art flour box from northern Sweden. The box was made by hand during the mid 1800s from pine and was used to store flour. Boxes like this would be standing freely on the counter or hung on the wall in the kitchen to make the flour easy to reach. Including the back the box is 38 cm tall.<\/p>\n
