Swedish country house sideboard from the transitional period between gustavian and empire. The sideboard is a genuine country furniture and made around 1820 to 1830 in pine. It has the original paint with traces of use and distress with the patina of time. Unusual model on the feet. Untouched interior. Working locks and keys and original brass hardware. The sideboard is healthy and solid. The table top has had a trough edge which is gone. It’s visible by some minor traces in the paint of the table top along the back and short ends. Also note the profiled edge on the sides of the drawers.
