Tall Swedish rococo cabinet made by hand in northern Sweden. The cabinet is a genuine country house furniture from the late 18th century. The cabinet is made from solid pine into two parts. Working lock and key as well as original hardware. The cabinet cuts a stately figure with a tall frame and a strong curved pediment. The black paint shows distress and the pine underneath shines through in places which further emphasises the lines and details of the cabinet.
The lower and upper cabinet measures 91 cm and 125 cm tall respectively. The depth of the cabinet is 50 cm for the lower and 37 cm for the upper. Not including the trim the frame itself measures 48 and 34 cm deep respectively. Total height is 216 cm and width is 88 cm.
