White sideboard with interior drawers from Northern Sweden. The sideboard is from around 1860 and made by hand in solid pine. In total the sideboard has 15 smaller drawers, all with the original drawer pulls in brass. The drawers are an unusual detail on sideboards such as this and they are both very practical as well as a design feature.
The sideboard has minimal decor with a profiled top and bottom edge as well as a simple design on the doors. The details are made more pronounced by the distress of the paint where the wood shines trough. The exterior white paint is later while the interior has the original paint. The sideboard also has a simple lever lock and key in brass. Healthy and solid frame.
