Rare folk art cabinet from Sweden made during the early 1800s. The cabinet is made by hand in northern Sweden, in the county Jämtland, from solid pine around the turn of the century 1700 to 1800. Baroque style with an angular pediment and double doors. The cabinet is made in one single piece. Scraped to original paint with distress and patina – the wood shines through in places that are more worn. The inside has shelves as well as paint from the late 1800s. Working lock and key.
