Charming Swedish country table from the gustavian period around 1810 to 1820. Made in solid pine in northern Sweden with straight tapered legs. Large and functional drawer with the original drawer pull in wood. Original paint which is very worn and distressed so that the pine underneath shines through. The table top itself has never been painted and has the genuine patina of time. Healthy and stable frame with some minor dry cracks in the table top due to the pine being an organic material that changes with the humidity in the air. Nothing that affects function or stability, it’s a part of the history of the table.
