Antique folk art bench from northern Sweden made around 1840. The bench is a charming and authentic Swedish antique, with rustic patina and character. Original untouched condition with natural wear that clearly reflects its long history. The seat lifts to a practical storage space, adding functionality.
The bench is made by hand in solid pine and is in healthy and stable condition. There is a natural dry crack on the front right side, consistent with the age of the piece. This does not affect the bench’s function or structural stability.
