Antique Swedish country table in classic gustavian style. This country house furniture is made by hand in solid pine around 1820 in Hälsingland, Sweden. Classic straight, tapered legs with an extendable drawer in the apron.
The table has gone through history without anyone making any changes or painting it over, the paint is the original blue paint which with time has distress and patina from use. Healthy and stable frame. Minor loss of material on the edges of the drawer, see pictures. The table top consists of only two wide boards that have a natural visible joint in the center. Height to the apron is 57 cm.
