Antique Swedish writing cabinet from Northern Sweden. Beautiful country antique writing cabinet in folk art, hand-crafted in solid pine in Northern Sweden around 1820. The cabinet is constructed in two parts and is a genuine and highly decorative example of Swedish folk furniture with great character.
Scraped by hand to the original paint from the early 1800s with natural wear and traces of use that reflect the cabinet’s age and history. The cabinet has a beautifully aged patina with variations in colour and visible signs of time. Working locks with original keys.
