Antique long case clock from northern Sweden. The clock has its origin in northern Sweden in the county Jämtland which is close to the border to Norway. Made by hand around 1820 with a case that’s made to look like the female form. Solid pine with hand-carved decor. Scraped to the original paint from the 1820s, the paint shows the history of the clock with distress and patina.
Original clock mechanism, weights and pendulum. The function of the clock mechanism is not tested. The clock is sold as an interior design item and not a time keeper.
