Unusual long case clock from the late 1700s. The model of this country clock is typical for Jämtland, a province in northern Sweden bordering to Norway. Made by hand around 1790 with a frame in solid pine. Carved wooden decor in rococo. Scraped to the original paint with patina and distress that shows the history of the clock.
Original old-fashioned clock mechanism with a clock face in wood and a single clock hand. Weights and pendulum. The mechanism has been serviced and was working at the time the photographs were taken however we leave no guarantee on the future function. Healthy and stable frame. The width and depth measurements are taken from the base.
