Antique folk art pot made by hand in northern Sweden during the mid 1800s. The pot was an everyday utility item made in soapstone which is a soft stone with great heat conduction that worked excellent for cookware. The handles are hand wrought iron. The pot has traces and marks of use which creates the unique patina it has today. The pot would work well for a multitude of purposes such as a flower pot or simply on its own. Excluding the handles the pot is 14 cm tall.
