Antique long case clock from northern Sweden made by hand around 1810. The clock has its origin in northern Sweden in the county Härjedalen which is on the border to Norway. The case is made by hand in rococo style from solid pine. Hand-carved wooden decorations in rococo style and scraped-to the original first layer of blue paint from the 1810s.
Old-fashioned clockwork with only a single clock hand. The paint shows the history of the clock with authentic distress and patina. Original mechanical clock mechanism, weights and pendulum. The function of the clock mechanism is not tested, the clock is sold as an interior design object and not a timekeeper.
