Large Swedish wooden bowl in original condition. A robust bowl with great patina. Manufactured from birch burl, a very hard and dense material which makes for good quality objects. Crafted during the late 18th century. Original paint underneath.

These objects were common during their time of use but because they were expendables they are difficult to find today. Their main use were for household cooking and storage of food.
