Swedish baroque secretary desk in pine from the late 1700s. The secretary is from northern Sweden and has distressed paint and a warm time-worn patina. The surface and character of the wood underneath shines trough the paint. The secretary is a statement piece and sure focal point in any room it’s placed in. It has an authentic patina with age and history written in every mark and detail.

The inside has original blue paint and the original lock, hardware and key to the desk top. It’s a special key with brass inlays – see picture. The secretary would work very well as for example a desk or work table. Healthy and solid frame, one of the drawer pulls is more recent. Height to desk top is 76 cm.
