White gustavian sideboard from northern Sweden. The sideboard is from around 1790 and is in the gustavian style. The style got it’s name from the Swedish king Gustav III during the late 1700s. Painted pine with the original first layer of light paint from 1790. The paint has wear and patina. Hand carved wooden decor in the gustavian style. The model is unusual because it’s low at only 90 cm to the table top. Healthy and solid frame. Original lock and key in working condition. Height to table top is 90 cm plus an additional 8 cm for the rim.
