Antique long case clock from northern Sweden made around 1820. The clock has its origin in northern Sweden, in the county Norrbotten which is one of the northernmost counties in Sweden and on the border to Finland. The case is made in gustavian style, made by hand in solid pine.
All the decorations are carved by hand and the original paint from the 1820s has also been scraped-to by hand. The paint shows the history of the clock with distress and patina. Original mechanical clock mechanism, weights and pendulum. The clock mechanism was functional at the time the photos were taken by we leave no guarantee on the future function.
