Sideboard from the Swedish gustavian period made in northern Sweden around 1790. This antique sideboard is a genuine Swedish original furniture made by hand in solid pine. Untouched condition that shows all the almost 250 years of history. Faux paint to imitate birch from the mid 1800s, most likely it was repainted to the favoured colours of the mid 1800s. The older original paint from the late 1700s can be glimpsed in places with more distress.

Good condition with a healthy and stable frame. Original working lock and key. The history of this sideboard is told in every trace and mark of use and distress of the paint. Height to the table top is 113 cm and the trim around the back is another 7 cm.
