Small rustic dining table from Northern Sweden, in a transitional style between baroque and rococo. The table can be used as a dining table and has two drop leafs, one on either side. Made in the early rococo period around 1750. Curved rococo legs with hand-carved decor and elegant feet.
The table has a rustic surface with a lot of patina that shows the genuine history of the table with old paint that’s been significantly distressed and worn with time. Hand-wrought old iron reinforcements at the corners – see pictures. Healthy, stable and functional. The centre table top measures 105.5 by 48.5 cm with the respective leafs measuring an additional 29 and 27 cm wide.
