Antique Swedish rococo desk made during the late 1700s in painted pine. The desk has traces of the distressed original first paint. The legs are typical rococo with a large elegant curve that tapers down to narrow feet. There is a single drawer and the two front corners of the desk top have been rounded. The edge of the apron has a delicate profiled and almost scalloped edge which mirrors the shape of the legs and makes the table that much more inviting.

The desk has good measurements, height from the floor to the apron is 63 cm. Which means that table would work well to sit by even today 250 years later. That particular feature is uncommon with older furniture as 18th century tables were usually made too low for our current times. Healthy and stable. The measurements for the length and width are taken from the table top.
