Neoclassical long case clock from the turn of the century 1700 to 1800s. The case itself is from northern Sweden and the mechanism is from Stockholm. The clock is in pine with a straight shape but very richly decorated with hand carved wooden decorations. The case is unusually thin with a depth of only 18 cm. The case is dry scraped by hand to the distressed traces of the original paint. Healthy and solid frame. The ring in front of the clock face is later, likely since the 1900s and the glass is also later. The clock comes with the original clockwork, two iron weights and pendulum. Working at the time the photograph was taken but we leave no guarantees on the future functions.
