Genuine antique Swedish sideboard from the gustavian period around 1780. The sideboard is made in Stockholm by hand with a frame in solid pine. It has the straight classic shape with slanted corners and tall tapered legs, all characteristics of the Swedish gustavian period. Old historic paint from the early 1800s. The paint has distress and patina after 200 years of use.
Healthy and solid frame. Also note the slightly slanted sides of the shelf on top of the sideboard, best seen on the photo showing the back. Unusual interior with drawers and small shelves on the short ends. Original working lock and key. The width and depth are measured from the outer perimeter of the table top. Height to the table top is 107.5 cm and the shelf is another 19 cm making the total height 126.5 cm.
